Please read the following carefully before purchasing.

Our pieces are non-refundable because they are either made to measure or made to order, especially for you. If you would like to try a sample before you buy, please make an appointment to try on in our studio. If you are based overseas, please book a virtual appointment.


In the unlikely event that your item is faulty we will offer to repair, replace or refund the item depending on the circumstance, please advise us of a fault within 14 days of purchase. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase or the product has been altered or worn unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.


If your item is faulty and you are eligible for a refund:

  • Your item must be unused and arrive in the same condition that you received it. Any marks, damages or snags in the fabric will mean we cannot offer a refund. It must also be returned in the original packaging with the labels attached.
  • Please allow 3 days for your refund to process.

These are the next steps:

  1. Please email info@theownstudio.com to let us know which items you would like to return. We will send you a prepaid postage label for the return.
  2. Pack any unwanted items, along with the original proof of purchase document and any returns information in the original packaging and postal box/bag.
