Nicola Coughlan wears custom OWN to kick off the launch of Bridgerton Season 3 in NY at the top of the Empire State Building.
OWN co-founder and designer Jess Kaye shares the story behind this custom piece;
"Wherever you look in our collections there is a strong lean into archive fashion. We love the classic 60s mini silhouette with long sleeves and exaggerated trims. For Nicola we knew it needed to be fun and statement-making and it’s a dream to have her in such a classic OWN look.
"The main body of the dress is a soft supple leather sourced from a local leather merchant (originally from Italy) and trimmed with shearling. The silhouette is incredibly flattering; a fitted bodice and a playful a-line kick in the mini skirt. So fun to wear.
"Nicola is the archetypal OWN girl. We absolutely love her off-kilter approach to glamour and how much fun she has with fashion. Every look is strong and experimental and it’s so inspiring to work with people like that. And on a personal level she may just be one of the nicest people we’ve ever worked with!"
