PLANNING YOUR VISIT
Most brides plan on visiting a number of different designers to find 'the one'. If you're planning on doing this, we'd recommend visiting your favourite designer last. Often your first appointment can be a case of simply getting used to yourself in a wedding dress! Trying a variety of silhouettes and shapes on before you get to your favourite designer will give you a good sense of what will work best for you and your body shape. This approach means that by the time you get to your preferred designer you'll be able to really start crafting the vision.
HOW WE WORK
We work differently to other brands as everything we do in our main bridal collection is made to measure, custom to you. That means we can make design alterations and customisations to any piece and also change up fabrics. We also offer a fully bespoke service. You can read more about the custom OWN experience here.
Our made to order evening wear collection is available in a dress size and all alterations are organised by you.
LET US KNOW WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO TRY
We will have your chosen pieces ready and waiting for you in your fitting room. We generally recommend shortlisting up to 5 pieces to start with so you can spend as much time as possible absorbing each one (it can become overwhelming otherwise.) You and your stylist will then select other pieces during the appointment as needed!
COME WEARING THE RIGHT UNDERWEAR (TIPS FROM THE EXPERTS AND WHAT TO BUY)
"We don't wear white or ivory as an entire outfit very often, so aren't necessarily aware of the challenges it can present,” Eloise Rigby from our specialist partner The Pantry Underwear explains.
Good underwear transforms an outfit and when it comes to wearing a sleek, silky dress, it is the red carpet’s biggest trade secret - we firmly believe it is just as important as the dress itself.
For this reason we always recommend coming to your appointment with the right underwear. It might not be the underwear you end up wearing on the day but it will at least show you how the dress looks with shapewear and your stylist will be able to advise (alongside the underwear specialists The Pantry) on what will work with your chosen dress. We have some pieces available to try in the studio but we won’t be able to cater to all bust sizes/body shapes so it is always best to bring your own.

SAMPLE SIZES
We carry a range of sizes in the studio, with our bridal samples ranging between sizes 8 - 16. We do not have every bridal style in every size so please check with us before your appointment if there is a specific style and size you are after so we can let you know what we have available. If we do not carry a sample in your exact size, please don’t worry as we can fit a different size to you and run through exactly how it would look in your size. All our bridal styles are made-to-measure so we can make any style in any size (including sizes above and below the sample range we have in store). SHOES & ACCESSORIES
We have a range of shoes in the studio for you to try with our pieces, so don’t worry about bringing any. However, if you are very organised and have already bought your wedding shoes or would prefer to wear your own shoes during the appointment, then please bring them along!
You are also very welcome to bring along any accessories you plan to wear on the day so you can see how these work with our pieces.
MAKE-UP & FAKE TAN
Our pieces are predominantly ivory and made from delicate luxury fabrics that require specialist cleaning so we’d be really appreciative if you could avoid wearing any instant tan or heavy face/neck make-up so we can keep our pieces looking beautiful. Thank you!
HOW TO FIND US
Our studio is at 374 - 378 Old Street, London, EC1V 9LT. We are located directly opposite The Courthouse Hotel and next to The Clove Club.
The nearest tube is Old Street (15 minutes walk) and the nearest overground is Shoreditch High Street (10 minutes walk). For food and drink and other fun things to do in the area after your appointment, read this.
Upon arrival please ring the top buzzer (with our name on it). We are up one flight of stairs on the first floor - the first door you will get to - you can't miss us. Unfortunately, as we are in a historic period building, there is no step-free access available.
