Working with @marisaabela_ and her amazing stylist @aimeecroysdill on her custom look for her ‘night before’ was so fun. We have a shared love for old Hollywood elegance and Marisa had a very strong vision in mind: “There’s a photo of Marilyn Monroe in a strapless dress with a shawl that I sent to OWN and to Aimée,” Marisa says. “That was the vibe, and they absolutely nailed it. I wanted it to feel bridal, but sexy and chic and playful.”
The result was this stunning duchesse satin tulip gown with an in-built lace corset. It cinched to create that waist drama, finely balanced with an exaggerated pop at the hip. We love the delicate finish at the waist with the satin belt.
