“Each made to measure OWN piece is a one off, it has never existed before and will never again. It is an edition of one made especially for you.” Jess Kaye / Rosie Williams
Our made to measure bridal collection is custom made by hand in our London atelier by our team of dedicated artisans. Custom made means a bespoke pattern is cut each time to the exact measurements of the person it is being created for. Making our pieces in this way means that each and every one of them is completely unique, a one off, never to be made the same again.
This way of working is completely different to the standard industry model (which normally ‘makes to order’). When you wear a piece from our made to measure collection, you are wearing something impeccably crafted that has been handmade completely bespoke to you; no two styles will ever be the same.
The fact that everything is made to measure means you have complete freedom to tweak the design or fabrics before we start creating your outfit. If you are looking to customise elements of the existing design, there are two services available:
1 - S E M I - B E S P O K E
You may fall in love with one of our pieces but want to customise the shape or design details, for example change the neckline, lengthen the train, move a seam, cinch a waist, change the straps, raise or lower the back, or make a silhouette more a-line - the possibilities are endless! We love hearing your ideas and bringing your unique vision to life. Our semi bespoke service allows you to make changes to existing designs with various fitting options available to you throughout the process. The cost for this service depends on the changes you are requesting, but we will always do our best to keep them as reasonable and affordable as possible.
2 - B E S P O K E
Our bespoke service is perfect for brides who love our sleek, pared back aesthetic and luxurious fabrics, but want a completely unique design. One of our co-founders and designers will work in partnership with you to design and create your dream outfit, and you will have complete control throughout the process. Every piece in our ready to wear bridal and occasion wear collections are hand cut and crafted in London by our skilled team. These pieces are made to order in standard dress sizes and lengths so if required, you will need to organise alterations separately.
Made to order means that we only make something once a customer places an order. This helps to minimise any wastage and is a much more sustainable approach to fashion. Each piece of fabric is cut individually and by hand, rather than using a machine block to cut several pieces at once. This also ensures it is impeccably crafted each time, which is especially important when you’re working with a bias cut on a satin fabric, as the fabric moves more easily and is tricky to cut.
Of course, this isn’t the cheapest way to make a garment; in fact, it is probably the most expensive way to produce clothes. Our London based seamstresses are best-in-class, and the price we pay them reflects that. For us, whether you’re a bride, bridesmaid or event guest, it’s all about the cut and the fabric. And we believe that quality, and paying specialist seamstresses fairly, is a worthwhile expense. And of course, it’s a huge bonus that we’re able to support local community businesses and keep our carbon footprint at a minimum.
Our silhouettes are figure-flattering and have been designed to give you confidence to buy online – we work mostly with bias cuts that fit around your curves as well as wearable designs that are easy to alter if needed.

We are incredibly passionate about our fabrics and work with some of the oldest and most prestigious fabric houses in the world. Many of them are still small family run businesses based in Italy and France. We are extremely proud of our quality and craftsmanship; our passion for this sits at the heart of everything we do and is what makes an OWN garment completely unique and innately luxurious.
