REBECCA + STEPHEN

Just landed on @britishvogue the wedding of REBECCA and STEPHEN.

Rebecca says, "My husband and I are both from Australia, but we met in London. With his Greek roots and so many of our holidays spent there, Athens felt like the perfect place for everyone to come together. The whole week unfolded like a holiday, with a love-filled party thrown right in the middle, which is exactly what we’d imagined for our guests and ourselves.

"On the morning of the wedding, all I wanted was to be surrounded by the people who make me feel most at ease – and that included my husband. We decided to spend the morning together, breaking from tradition, and it felt so natural. We shared breakfast and lunch with our friends and family, relaxing and soaking in every moment of anticipation.

"One of the defining moments of the day was the church ceremony. My husband is Greek Orthodox, so we embraced the full tradition. Experiencing those rituals with our guests felt considered, intimate, and undeniably special, a real anchor point of the day.

"The OWN Studio was the first, and only, place I visited. Knowing I wanted something modern, elegant, and minimal, it felt like the perfect fit. I knew I wanted a drop waist, and I was surprised by how much I loved the no-train silhouette on STYLE 082, it gave the dress a clean, contemporary edge. I paired it with a heavy mantilla lace veil, point-toe Manolo Blahnik pumps, and simple pearl jewellery.

"After the ceremony, I switched my hair from down to an up-do to show off the open keyhole back, it felt like slipping into a second look."
