A very special commission for a very special concert, the Princess of Wales' annual carol concert at Westminster Abbey.
We designed this powder blue bubble hem custom gown for Olivia Dean's performance. We love the chic teardrop shape waist and delicate little cap sleeve, contrasted with the incredible voluminous skirt, which really made the dress pop. So much work went into the dress beforehand, meticulous attention to detail around the cut - especially the neckline as we wanted it to have the perfect modern scoop - not to mention all the volume needed in the skirt (which gives it that wonderful shape), along with sourcing a fabric the exact shade of soft blue. With time for only one fitting before the concert it fit like a glove! Olivia looked absolutely stunning, a complete dream to dress.
