Frances and Henry // from London to Provence

Frances was one of our very first brides, she wore STYLE 007 jumpsuit for her chic UK registry office and for her Friday night drinks in Provence. We love that she wore her jumpsuit to two of her wedding events, styling it to perfection on both occasions. Read on to hear all about it...

We had our wedding in the South of France at the end of September in 2019. We wanted a relaxed setting where we could hold a few events over the weekend to spend as much time with our closest friends and family as possible. We went for an old farmhouse which had a rustic yet contemporary vibe and could sleep over 40 people on site - it was absolutely perfect.

When it came to finding my outfit, the whole process was beyond anything I expected. I wore The OWN Studio Jumpsuit at my UK registration and for the Welcome Drinks at our French wedding. I'd been looking for a jumpsuit for a while and nothing was right, then suddenly a sponsored ad for The Own jumpsuit popped up and it was exactly what I'd pictured. It was quite close to my UK registration where I wanted to wear it, but The OWN Studio were so accommodating.

Rosie came to my flat so I could try the jumpsuit, and it was such a perfect experience. I loved the personal interaction and how flexible they were. Being able to try things at home made the process so much easier, and they were happy to make little tweaks to make sure it was just right. I also love that I got to wear the jumpsuit twice, and it's something I see myself wearing on special occasions for years to come - it's so beautiful. I also ended up purchasing bracelets from The Own Studio as gifts for my bridesmaids which were absolutely gorgeous. I can't thank you enough for making the whole experience so special and simple!

The secret to planning a great wedding is enjoy the process. Weddings can be stressful to organise, but I loved planning it with my husband and getting to share all the important moments with him. We chose to get married in a rural part of France where I spent a lot of time growing up, so getting to share that with my husband was amazing and brought us even closer together.

The best part of my wedding was the cake cutting. We chose to go with an unconventional song (Ante Up - MOP featuring Busta Rhymes). The DJ initially warned us against this so we chose an alternative, but on the day he came up to us and said once he'd seen the crowd he thought we could get away with it. Best decision ever. Everyone got really into it, getting up on the tables and chairs and it was such a euphoric moment.
