ALLEGRA + ALEX // a beautiful wedding set in one of London's oldest secret gardens

The beautiful blooms in one of London's oldest botanical gardens, The Chelsea Physic Gardens, forms the backdrop for Allegra and Alex's amazing wedding. Allegra looks absolutely radiant in STYLE 038, a vintage inspired design with modern details such as a plunging statement back.

We first met Allegra in November 2021. She had a very clear idea of the dress she wanted- STYLE 038 - in fact, I think it's fair to say that she had her heart set on it. No pressure! We all held our breath as she tried it. And of course, it looked absolutely phenomenal. We were all in tears! It doesn't always happen like that but when it does, it is very special. Allegra added covered buttons to the base of the dress to match the sleeves, and styled it with a stunning veil for the ceremony, swapping it out later for a beautiful monogrammed bow. Her look was complete with a classic pair of Loeffler Randal light blue heels.

On the day, Allegra got ready at her parents house in Chelsea, with the service held afterwards at Christ Church Chelsea, followed by the reception at the Physic Gardens. We love how the botanical theme was pulled through into the gorgeous flowers, wedding stationery, cake and event styling. Everything feels so summery and light. Fabulous photography too by one of our favourite wedding photographers, Nico Wills, who captures everything so beautifully.

To other soon to be brides Allegra says, "my advice would be to not get too consumed by every little detail and delegate jobs to bridesmaids / ushers - they are all there to help you and make sure your day goes according to plan. Delegating means you can relax on the day and know your friends and family are all going to help. Also I kept my suppliers as local as possible which made it far easier logistically and kept stress levels to a minimum!"
