When Dua Lipa, Olivia Dean and Jennifer Lawrence need to get camera-ready, Celia Burton is on speed dial. And when it comes to the products she turns to time and again, luckily for us, she’s not gatekeeping.

Here, the makeup artist reveals the five products she can’t get enough of, from a foundation she describes as virtually undetectable to the lip colour that hasn’t left her handbag in weeks.

1. Outside-In Silk Serum Foundation

“I’m always on the hunt for undetectable complexion products. This is exactly that. It’s sheer, silky and incredibly skin-like, with just enough coverage to bring everything together. You can still see freckles, texture and the person underneath - always the goal.”

2. Prequel Skin Multi-Quench Hydration Mist

“A very good bit of kit. I use this as skin prep to boost hydration and in-between layers of makeup, whenever things are starting to look a little too heavy. It brings moisture and life back into the skin without adding weight or shine. I loved it in the heat too - not that we’ll get much more of that this year.”

3. DUA by AB The Balancing Cream Cleanser

“A really beautiful, unfussy cleanser. It feels nourishing and comforting but still leaves the skin properly clean. The Dua collaboration confuses some people but I really love her three-step collection - maybe even more than the original AB Rich Creams.”

4. KJH Brand Microscara

“Such a clever little mascara. The tiny applicator (never seen one like it) pushes the product right into the roots and catches every single lash. I love lashes that look defined and separated rather than overly mascara-ed, and this gives you so much control. It’s particularly good on lower lashes. I can always tell when an actual makeup artist has designed a product - Katie Jane Hughes is brilliant!”

5. Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Lip Oil Stick

“This lippy hasn’t left my handbag in weeks. On the first application you get a pretty intense hit of colour, but once you mix and blot it out, the finish is full, soft and juicy. It feels like a really nourishing lip balm, too. No precision required - it sheers out beautifully and you just look better for it. My favourite shade is ‘Embrace’. Highly recommend!”
